Separate your Firebird from the rest with this aggressive looking hood from SLP. This is the original OEM hood that was used on the LT1/LT4 Pontiac Firehawk. The hood scoop can be made functional with a unique SLP air box (purchased separately) that adds up to 15 horsepower with a cold-air ram effect.

SLP Fan-Control Switch, 1993-02 V6/V8 Camaro/Firebird
Today's engines are built to run hotter-for reasons unrelated to performance! The higher temperatures mean less aggressive spark lead timing and lower advance curves or knock sensors, which retard timing at high engine loads to prevent detonation. If you run it hot, performance goes downhill. Stock cooling fans are set to activate at 215° F, too hot for high performance use.

SLP Header Package, 1-3/4" Long Tube 1998-99 LS1 Camaro/Firebird w/Y-Pipe/High-Flow Cats/Installation Kit
SLP's New Long-Tube Headers feature 409 stainless steel construction with 1-3/4" primary tubes flowing into a 3" 4-into-1 collector. They're fully compatible with all stock emissions-control equipment and use OEM flanges for a perfect fit and proper bolt retention. This header package comes complete with a matching 3" y-pipe, a pair of 200 cell per inch high-flow catalytic converters, all necessary hardware and detailed installation instructions.
