SLP has taken our already great performing ZL402 and made it even better! We've included and installed the SLP/L92 64cc cylinder-head-and-L76 manifold package with a SLP 51014 camshaft, SLP double-row timing chain, SLP Heavy-duty oil pump, new GM lifters and lifter guides, ARP cylinder head studs and MLS head gaskets. Our ZL402 is built around a new GM LQ9 Gen III 6.0 liter GM block, a 4.00" 4340 forged Callies steel crank, and 4.00" 2618 forged SLP/Manley aluminum pistons and 4340 forged SLP/Manley H-Beam Rods.

The advantage of this approach is the new ZL402 long-block ships to you already assembled eliminating the guesswork associated with building an engine. (L76 manifold included, not installed).

Although designed primarily for use in late-model F-Bodies and Corvettes, the ZL402 also makes a great choice for street rods, muscle cars, and trucks. Best of all, it's sold outright, eliminating the shipping hassles and expenses of core returns.

You won't find a higher-quality, better value LS stroker motor anywhere!

NOTE: While placing your order, please specify make and model year that the 402 will be installed in. Be sure to order the correct ZL402 engine with the proper style reluctor wheel for your application (reference chart below). SLP's harmonic balancer/under-drive pulley is required for proper installation (or an equivalent pulley that is properly keyed) a stock balancer/pulley will NOT fit.
