SLP Subframe Connectors, 1993-02 Camaro/Firebird Coupe (Bolt-On)

SLP's sub-frame connectors fit the 1993-2002 V6, V8 Camaro, and Firebird, (except convertible models). Designed to tie the car's front and rear sub-frames together, the additional cross bracing increases chassis stiffness dramatically. These connectors are constructed of heavy-duty steel box tubing, and significantly increase your car's performance and handling abilities. By reducing chassis flex, annoying T-top and dash rattles are minimized. Cars raced or auto-crossed have always been known to get flex creases in the rear quarter sheet metal; these sub-frame connectors can prevent this kind of damage. SLP's subframe connectors are available in two versions. One (Part #70801) is an easy-to-install bolt-on version that uses existing chassis mounting points. No holes to drill! It comes with a gloss-black, powder coated finish. The other (Part #70802) is a weld-in design, which comes unfinished and must be painted after installation. The frames are constructed of 2" X 2", 1" X 1" and 2" X 3" 14 gauge steel tube and 1/4" steel plate. Installation instructions are included.
