K&N Air Filters and Intakes - 07-11 Mustang Shelby GT500 K&N Full Intake

K&N advertises their intake to add 53HP with no tune. This is somewhat correct, but I DO NOT recomend installing the intake without a tune. Like every other GT500 intake on the market, the KN increases the MAF sensor housing size to allow more air into the engine. This means the car will run much leaner. It will make more power due to this lean-ness, but will not be safe.

We only recommend using the K&N Intake with a custom tune. We have tunes available for this intake using stock or smaller supercharger pulleys.
