BMR Fabrication 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird - Bolt-in manual rack and pinion conversion kit
BMR started from a clean slate when they developed their manual rack conversion kit. The industry standard has long been to use the Pinto-style rack and pinion when manual steering is required. They are rugged, lightweight and very compact. The aftermarket has installed them on practically every car out there and a lot of them work just fine. What most people don't understand is that one rack doesn't fit all regardless of what people tell you. A Pinto rack installed on a fourth generation F-car will create excessive bump-steer unless measures are taken to correct the problem. The overall distance between the inner tie rod pivot points should match the overall distance between the A-arm pivot points. Any variation to this will cause the tie rods and A-arms to swing on two seperate arcs. This means the vehicles toe will change as the suspension travels up and down, otherwise known as bump steer.

Eliminate wheelhop and improve traction with an easy one hour installation. BMR's fabricated control arms are available in both tubular or boxed versions, in fixed or adjustable lengths. All control arms are equipped with either spiral fluted internally lubed high durometer polyurethane bushings or Heavy Duty QA1 Teflon raced XR series spherical bearings depending on the part number.
The heavy duty boxed control arms are fabricated from 1.5" x 3" rectangular tubing.
The non-adjustable tubular control arms are fabricated from 1.625" x .120" DOM tubing or in the optional 1.625" x .083" 4130 chrome moly option.
The "On-Car" adjustable versions are made from 1.25" x .095" 4130 chrome moly tubing. These control arms use custom 3/4" heavy duty chrome moly double adjusters for the street version and HD XR series QA1 rod ends with stainless spacers for the race version. Both models can be adjusted "on-car".
All models available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

Factory F-Body panhard rods are made from stamped-u-shaped material and utilize soft, rubber bushings that allow deflection under load. BMR panhard rods are all made from large diameter 1.25", heavy wall DOM tubing and utilize either greaseable polyurethane bushings or HD spherical bearings by QA1. The adjustable versions use left-hand and right-hand thread to allow easy "on-car" adjustment. Our CNC machined adjusters are made from 4130 chromoly and have rolled threads. All rod end spacers are 304 stainless. You won't find higher quality pieces.

If you are looking for increased cornering capabilities with decreased body roll, BMR sway bars are the answer. The front bar is a massive 35mm's amd the rear is 25mm. BMR Fabrication 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird - Driveshaft safety loop
Most tracks require a driveshaft safety loop for cars running faster than 12.99 in the quarter. This NHRA approved loop bolts onto the floorpan using existing floorpan mounting holes. No drilling or welding required. Tunnel crossbrace is designed with a drop down to accomodate lower aftermarket exhausts and y-pipes. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat. NOTE: Not intended for convertibles, will not fit with BMR Trak Pak. Due to the infinite variations of exhaust combinations, aftermarket driveshafts and aftermarket torque arms, this loop may not fit your particular application without shimming and/or exhaust alteration.
BMR Fabrication 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird - F-Body A/C Delete Panel
Since race cars don't need air conditioning and deleting the entire system can save almost 100 pounds, this is a no-brainer modification. BMR's A/C delete panel for the Fourth Generation F-Body is an easy solution to the large hole left in the firewall once the A/C has been removed. Made from 1/8" aluminum to keep the product lightweight yet not flexible. Patterned after the OE A/C box and precision laser cut to bolt on using existing mounting holes.
