BMR Fabrication 2005-2010 Mustang Dual-durometer rearend bushing
3 link suspensions place excessive loads on the upper link bushings. In the S197 Mustang, two bushings are responsible for handling the same torque load that 4 bushings had done before. Additionally, these bushings are subjected to more "twist" than before since the rear end can better articulate as a 3 link design. In order to allow free articulation, the OE rearend bushing is designed to flex. This flex is great for handling but under straight line acceleration, it contributes to wheelhop and inconsistant launch characteristics.
BMR Fabrication 2005-2010 Mustang - Handling Package
A step above our Lowering Package, these packages also address spring dampening, body roll, and chassis rigidity.
BMR Fabrication 2005-2010 Mustang - Rear billet swaybar end links
BMR sway-bars decrease body roll in your 2005+ Mustang resulting in a more predictable, neutrally balanced suspension. Our sway-bars are made from high quality, cold formed aircraft spec tubing which allows the bar to resist torsional fatique much better than hot formed bars. Front swaybar is a lightweight, hollow 35mm bar while the rear is solid 22mm. All necessary bushings and hardware included. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat. NOTE: BMR rear swaybars are not compatible with convertible models unless the additional OE convertible bracing is removed
BMR Fabrication 2005-2010 Mustang Relocation bracket only
It has always been common practice to reinforce Ford's 8.8" rearend with a stronger, cast rear cover. Unfortunately, with the '05 model, the panhard rod prevents this. BMR has an easy solution. Our relocation bracket moves the drivers side of the panhard rod to the back of the OE mount, providing 1" of additional clearance. Installation is simple and rear end geometry remains unaffected. We offer the bracket by itself or in our complete kit shown above. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat
BMR Fabrication 2005-2010 Mustang Swaybar Relocation Kit
The factory swaybar mounts won't clear a 15" drag wheel. Until now, racers have been cutting the brackets leaving no option other than eliminating the swaybar. These all stainless brackets allow the user to relocate the swaybar further up on the bracket. While the OE bracket must still be cut, our kit provides a new mounting point for the swaybar. Easy 1-2 hour job, hardware and instructions included.
BMR Fabrication 2005-2010 Mustang - Upper Control Arm Mount
Our upper control arm mount is a direct replacement for the OE piece and requires no drilling or welding to install. The last generation Fox body Mustangs had upper control arm mounts incorporated into the frame. They also had two upper control arms sharing the load but drag racers were continually ripping the mounts off of the frame when racing. The solution for those cars was to weld reinforcement plates onto the frame. This new Mustang platform only has one upper control arm and the mount is only bolted into place. Our upper mount is made from heavy duty 1/4" plate and can be either bolted or welded into place. Additionally it has dual control arm mounting points for changing instant center. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat
