BMR Suspension - 04-06 GTO Drag Bags
Does wheelhop plague your new GTO? This is a common side effect in independent rear suspensions caused by the inability to properly dampen vertical wheel movement with applied torque. Combine this with the minimal rear suspension travel of the new Goat and your bouncing off the bumpstops every time you stab the throttle. An easy solution to this is stiff rear spring rates, however ride quality then becomes an issue as well as excessive oversteer. The best solution is a set of BMR Drag Bags. This is an old solution to a relatively new problem. Spring rate can be altered by simply adding air (without effecting ride height) and ride quality remains un-effected when the bag is deflated.
Fairly simple 2-3 hour installation time.
NOTE: Works with OE springs only.
BMR Suspension - 04-06 GTO Driveshaft Safety Loop
Most tracks require driveshaft safety loops for ET's quicker than 12.99 in the quarter. Our NHRA legal safety loop welds onto the factory floorpan reinforcement and has locating holes for proper positioning.
Two piece design allows installation without removing driveshaft and will fit driveshaft diameters up to 3.5".
NOTE: Will not clear '05 resonator.

BMR Suspension - 04-06 GTO Strut Tower Brace, DOM, Front
While the factory gave us a strut tower brace for the GTO, unfortunately it is little more than a cosmetic piece. The factory brace is made from thin wall 1" x .083" seamed tubing and does little to reinforce the strut towers.
The BMR strut tower brace is made from 1-5/8" x .095" seamless tubing and uses heavy duty 3/16" mounting plates.
NOTE: Some manual '05-'06 cars may require bending the clutch reservoir bracket for proper clearance.
